Hi, I’m Vivian. Years ago, I began my personal health journey by first cleaning up my diet: I cut out processed foods and began to focus on what effects I put into my body had on me, specifically my skin. You see, I’ve had life-long issues with eczema and dermatitis and when my body doesn’t like something, it shows up pretty quickly in my skin.
So while I slowly improved the quality of foods I was eating, I still needed to do better with what I was putting on my body. I dabbled with trying to go No Poo (that’s no shampoo for the uninitiated), but unfortunately, after months, it didn’t work out for me. I tried slathering different combinations of oils and oil cleansing, and while that did work, I found I was still searching for actual products like a good eye cream, lip tint and mascara. (I’m not much for make-up, but with my sensitive skin, I really wanted some options!)
